Heat Infrastructure

Our Heat infrastructure companies plan to convert all assets away from coal to a balanced mix of hydrogen-ready CCGT units, waste-to-energy plants, and biomass units by 2028/2029. We aim to ensure technical readiness of the gas turbines to use solely renewable gases for heat and power generation once these gases are commercially available. The conversion projects are in an advanced preparatory phase with the procurement process ongoing and applications for subsidies on all projects submitted.
