EP Infrastructure ESG Evaluation from S&P raised to 66/100

EP Infrastructure, a.s. (“EPIF”) is pleased to announce that on 8 September 2021 it obtained a score of 66/100 in its second ESG Evaluation from S&P Global Ratings, representing an improvement compared to the inaugural rating of 65/100 received in April 2020. The ESG Evaluation of 66 reflects EPIF’s improved sustainability indicators.

As a response, Václav Paleček, the Finance Director of EPIF, stated that “after strong rating score received last year, becoming the first company in the CEE region to obtain the S&P ESG rating, we were particularly pleased with the improvement in our ESG rating this year. We believe this underpins our commitments and ongoing efforts in the ESG area. We will continue to adhere to the highest standards of business conduct, while staying aligned with our values and the interests of our stakeholders.”

Petr Choutka, member of the controlling department in charge of the ESG agenda, added that “EPIF has made major strides in the ESG area in the last years and it is particularly rewarding to be part of this journey. I am delighted that our continuous efforts have been reflected in the strong ESG rating from S&P. We acknowledge our immense role in the sustainability area, particularly the ongoing energy transition and we remain committed to further progress.”
